CORNELIUS – A massage therapy school owner has been charged with allegedly putting her hands on someone.

On Aug. 25, Kristie June Hogan of Charlotte was arrested on a warrant for misdemeanor simple assault. She was booked at the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office in Charlotte and placed on a $300 unsecured bond.

The arrest stems from an alleged Aug. 18 incident at the N.C. Massage School on North Main Street. A 35-year-old woman reported to Cornelius police that Hogan, who owns the business, assaulted her inside the building by grabbing her arm.

Calls to Hogan were not returned as of press time.
