HUNTERSVILLE – In the event of an emergency, Next Level Readiness will lend a hand quickly and efficiently. The company makes preparing for and responding after an emergency a top priority.

“We protect your family and support your recovery,” said Andre Gagne, owner and CEO of Next Level Readiness.

Each employee demonstrates a combined total of 450 years of experience in preparing local businesses, families, neighborhoods, schools and individuals for any potential emergency that could occur.

Many of its personnel have prior experience working in fire departments, police departments, hospitals and emergency management agencies.

“People are grossly underprepared for emergencies,” Gagne said. “We want to educate people so they are better prepared.”

People in need can receive in-home or business safety and security assessments, family fire drills, neighborhood emergency response planning, severe weather evacuation planning, business disaster recovery, virtual and in-person training, exercise development and customized first aid, vehicle and family and corporate preparedness kits.

Gagne and his wife have owned the business since 2010, providing consultation, training and education in what people should do to stay prepared and safe at any time in a dangerous situation.

Gagne started his career in the fire service in 1997 in Connecticut. He later worked at Odell Fire Department.

His first federal response occurred on Sept. 11, 2001, when hijackers attacked the World Trade Center towers in New York. He also spent about 13 months providing disaster relief during Hurricane Katrina in 2005.

“I have real-world experience to prepare people for disasters,” Gagne said. “We are trying to eliminate fears of the Doomsday Preppers. It doesn’t have to frighten families. (To be prepared) costs less time, money and injuries.”
