Victor Alexander Agnello

MOORESVILLE – Victor Alexander Agnello, 50, died June 1, 2014.

He was born March 31, 1964, in Grand Forks, ND, to Anthony and Ernelieb Agnello.

Agnello was drummer for the heavy metal band, Laaz Rockit for seven years. Agnello was chief of the Allergy-Immunology Clinic at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital for four years, and founder and CEO of Allergy & Asthma Center of Lake Norman.

Survivors include his wife, Emily; daughters, Mya, Lauren, Rachael, Elaina, Anna, Maria and Brooklyn; sisters, Marina Agnello and Angela Miller-Dickson and husband, Richard;

and mother-in-law, JoAnn Richard.

Funeral services were held June 6 at St. Therese Catholic Church.

Kenan Colbert Koll

CHARLESTON, S.C. – Kenan Colbert Koll, 28, died May 28, 2014.

She was born June 30, 1985, in Salisbury, Md., to Kenny and Sue Colbert of Huntersville.

Survivors include her parents; husband, Billy Koll; brother, Pete Colbert; and grandparents, Pete and Lucy Colbert, and Louise Burke.

James William Pickard Sr.

HUNTERSVILLE – James William “Bill” Pickard Sr., 81, died May 27, 2014.

He was born Sept. 18, 1932, in Greensboro, to the late Junius and Helen Pickard.

Pickard was a U.S. Army veteran and a courier for Meridian Laboratory for eight years.
Survivors include sons, Bill and wife, Carole, and Mike and wife, Catharine; daughter, Diann Pickard Kearney and husband, Dennis; sister, Alice Braxton; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

John G. Alexander III   

HUNTERSVILLE – John G. Alexander III, 64, died May 26, 2014.

He was born April 9, 1950, in Mecklenburg County, to Christine Jetton McIntosh and the late John Alexander Jr.

Alexander worked as a mechanic at Duke Energy for 30 years.

Survivors include his mother; wife, Glenda; daughter, Beth Alexander Davis; step-son, Paul Lowry and wife, Kristi; step-daughter, April Modou and husband, AM; sister, Tammy Washam and husband, Mark; three grandchildren; and eight step-grandchildren.

Robyn Moncrief Oldham

DAVIDSON – Robyn Moncrief Oldham, 92, died May 26, 2014.

She was born Nov. 30, 1921, in Houston, Texas, to the late Jack and Marguerite Moncrief.

Oldham retired from the admissions office at Davidson College.

Survivors include her daughters, Harriet Kessler and husband, Steven, and Marguerite Williams and husband, W.T.; sister-in-law, Cornelia Cobb Oldham; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Yanz Owen Shirey

HUNTERSVILLE – Yanz Owen Shirey, 2, died May 26, 2014.

He was born Oct. 16, 2011, to Richard Owen and Stacie Browne Shirey.

HUNTERSVILLE – Patsy Lee Lowman Ward, 78, died May 26, 2014.

She was born Oct.24, 1935, in Shelby, to the late Robert and Viola Lowman.

Ward retired as business manager for Ward Erection Company.

Survivors include her sons, Lee and wife, Kathy, and Richard Ward; daughter, Cathy Ward Bulla and husband, Jack; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
