DAVIDSON – The Davidson Parks and Recreation Master Plan Steering Committee invites citizens to a public information session at 7 p.m. May 1 at Davidson Town Hall.

The parks and recreation department and master plan consultant LandDesign will present initial recommendations based on the information received from stakeholders meetings, research, the well-attended public forum held in February and the online survey.

Citizens are encouraged to complete the online survey available at this link, www.surveymonkey.com/s/Davidson_Parks_Rec by May 8.

“We want to hear from as many people as possible during this master plan process,” said Parks and Recreation Manager Kathryn Spatz. “One of our core values is: The physical, social, and intellectual wellbeing of Davidson citizens is fundamental to our community, so town government will provide and encourage enjoyable, safe and affordable recreational and cultural lifelong learning opportunities, so we want to develop a master plan to meet the needs of all of our citizens.”
