CORNELIUS – N.C. Rep. Thom Tillis has bought $300,000 in television ads comparing his conservative values to those of U.S. Sen. Kay Hagan, whom he’s trying to unseat in the November 2014 election.

The ads will run in western and coastal North Carolina, as well as the Piedmont Triad.

“The way to beat Kay Hagan is to start exposing her record of 96 percent support for the Obama agenda right now," Tillis wrote to supporters. “Once North Carolinians are reminded of that record of shackling our economy with Obamacare and more debt, she doesn’t stand a chance.”
