Church sponsors blood drive, career transition program

DCPC’s Career Transition Support Program has merged with Davidson United Methodist's NetWorkers program. The new program, called "The Davidson Career Transition Program," will be jointly sponsored by the two churches. Davidson United Methodist seeks paid summer youth intern

DAVIDSON – Davidson United Methodist is seeking a paid Summer Youth Ministry intern for 30 hours per week. Gethsemane Baptist showcases Gethsemane Gospel Singers

Grace Covenant offers Night of Worship

CORNELIUS – At 5:30 p.m. May 19, special guests Walker Beech and Aaron Crider, of Gateway Church in Dallas, Texas, will lead a Night of Worship in the sanctuary. Beech is an executive worship pastor, producer and writer of numerous internationally released songs.  As worship education pastor, Crider formerly directed worship schools in Pensacola, FL and Charlotte and was part of the planting team for FIRE Church in Concord. Huntington Green service day open to volunteers

HUNTERSVILLE – The Huntersville Code Enforcement Department, Caterpillar Ministries, Ardent Faith Church, and other local churches, along with OMN, have partnered together to offer a service day in Huntington Green Mobile Home Park. The service day will take place 8 a.m.-1 p.m. May 18. There will be neighborhood clean-up at 9-11 a.m., lunch at 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., and kids and community activities at 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Youth groups are also encouraged to jump in.

Temple Kol Tikvah celebrate Israel’s 65th birthday

DAVIDSON – Temple Kol Tikvah and the Lake Norman Chapter of Hadassah invite the community to celebrate Israel's 65th Birthday, 7-9 p.m. June 3.  They will show the powerful film “Inside Israel,” which highlights Israel’s many accomplishments. Also, learn how Hadassah supports Israel in their many wonderful projects. Refreshments will be served.
