DAVIDSON - Davidson College forward Jake Cohen has been selected to play in the Reese’s College All-Star Game.
The annual event, sponsored by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC), features the top seniors in college basketball and will be at 5 p.m. Friday on the Final Four court inside the Georgia Dome.
The teams are composed of 11 senior players from NCAA Division I programs across America.
Cohen is the first Wildcat to earn consecutive Southern Conference player of the year honors since Stephen Curry (2006-09).
Cohen, Davidson’s all-time leader in blocks (197) and starts (123), concluded his standout career ranked among the school’s Top-10 in points (1,795/6th), rebounds (747/9th) field-goals made (611/7th), field-goals attempted (1260/6th), free-throws made (451/2nd), free-throws attempted (560/5th), free-throw percentage (.805/T-9th) and games played (131/4th).
Iowa State coach Fred Hoiberg will coach the West All-Stars and Tennessee coach Cuonzo Martin will coach the East All-Stars.
