DAVIDSON – The Davidson College Environmental Action Coalition and the Davidson Lands Conservancy will host the ninth annual Green Ball from 7:30-10:30 p.m. Feb. 8 at the Lilly Gallery in the Chambers Building on Davidson’s campus.

The event will feature an evening of live music, contra-dancing and a silent auction that benefits the Davidson Lands Conservancy.

No contra-dance experience is necessary; caller Dean Snipes will lead dancers through the steps.

The Sons of the Full Moon will play music and snack-food will be provided.

Tickets cost $12 at the door or can be bought at www.greenball2013.eventbrite.com in advance.

The Davidson Lands Conservancy has more land under conservation easement than ever before.

The DLC also provides nature-themed education through the WOW and fourth-grade education programs.
