DAVIDSON – The Davidson Parks and Recreation Department will offer a history program on the South Street murder of town druggist Dr. W.H. Wooten, a story that made headlines in February 1914.

David Boraks will discuss the story and talk about buildings connected to the case.

The event, dubbed Murder on South Street with David Boraks, starts at 3 p.m. Feb. 10 at Summit Coffee Shop, 128 S. Main St., Davidson. Admission costs $5. Register in advance.
