Proceeds from the event will be aid the blind and visually impaired, primarily supporting Camp Dogwood on Lake Norman that is operated by the N.C. Lions Inc.
“We have always felt that a major part of the meal is drawing the community together and helping build a close tie among the residents,” said Lion Jim Olmstead, the project chairman for this year’s event.
This is the 50th year that the Huntersville Lions has held a pancake event.
Tickets cost $8 for adults, $5 for children ages 6-12 and children younger than 5 eat free. The menu includes pancakes with various toppings, sausage, biscuits and gravy, juice and other drinks.
The Lions Club will hold a silent auction that includes several gift baskets.
They will also be selling famous Lions brooms during the breakfast.
