Citizens can have input by completing this SURVEY and/or participating in a community forum.
Those providing feedback are eligible to enter a drawing for an iPad or a Kindle Fire.
Forums will take place:
Jan. 31 - 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Beatties Ford Road Regional Library, 2412 Beatties Ford Road, Charlotte
Feb. 5 - 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., at North County Regional Library, 16500 Holly Crest Lane, Huntersville
Feb. 6 - 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., at Steele Creek Library, 13620 Steele Creek Road, Charlotte
Feb. 7 - 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., at Mint Hill Library, 6840 Matthews - Mint Hill Road, Charlotte
The strategic planning process is led by a Design/Project Management Team of Library staff and a Steering Committee of community representatives.
“The Davidson Public Library is the anchor of our community, centrally located on our town green,” said Mayor John Woods. “We have many active users who care deeply about promoting reading, access to information, and the library as a place in our town. I hope users and non-users will give their input via the survey or at a forum.”
