CORNELIUS – In honor of cancer survivor Matt Sellers, Bethel Presbyterian will host its second annual blood drive. A donation only takes 20 minutes and can save up to three lives.

Sellers, a member of Bethel Presbyterian and a retired fireman, received multiple transfusions during his chemotherapy treatments. The blood drive is his way of giving back. Last year, the drive collected 112 units of blood.

The drive will be held 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Dec. 9 at the church, 19920 Bethel Church Road.

You can schedule an appointment by emailing Judie Sellers at colesmom0903@gmail.com or Beth Moss at bmoss@bethel-pc.org
