HUNTERSVILLE – Police arrested a Huntersville man accused of flashing his genitals at two girls while jogging.
The juveniles were playing in a common area near the intersection of Spruell Street and Holly Springs Drive on Oct. 26 when a man jogged toward them and showed his genitals as he ran past, officials said.
After officers received the suspect description, a detective recalled passing a jogger fitting that description at the same time and area of the incident. The suspect was identified as Hugh Thomas Ragland IV, 25, of Vixen Lane.
He confessed to the girls’ allegations, officials said.
Ragland was arrested on two counts of felony indecent exposure and two counts of indecent liberties with a child.
Police are asking citizens who may have had similar contacts with Ragland to contact them.
