DAVIDSON – The Town of Davidson endorses $500 million in education bonds that will appear on Nov. 5 election ballots.
Voters will encounter two education bonds on their ballots: $290 million for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools and $210 million for Central Piedmont Community College.
The CMS bond includes converting Davidson Elementary to a kindergarten through eighth grade building. Officials say this will offer continuity to families in its boundary.
The Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce also endorsed the education bonds, as well as Cornelius bonds. Flip to page 12 to read more.
