LNP's highschool football poll results

Lake Norman Publications held an end of the season Huntersvilleherald.com readers poll for who they thought was the top highschool football player of the year.
Alex Scearce, receiver and running back for Lake Norman Charter, was the overall leader in the voting results with 192 votes (44 percent) of the 434 total votes.
Scearce was one of eight Lake Norman Charter football players to be named to the Southern Piedmont 1A/2A all-conference team. Scearce was also named the offensive player of the year
Scearce caught 36 passes for 915 yards and 12 touchdowns. He rushed for 591 yards and 13 touchdowns. Scearce averaged 37.6 yards per punt return and 45 yards per kickoff return. He scored seven touchdowns on returns.
Scearce had 33 total touchdowns this, his senior, season.
