HUNTERSVILLE – The Town of Huntersville was notified Dec. 27 by American Water Resources of its intention to send letters to Huntersville residents promoting their water and sewer line insurance programs.

Some residents have already received these letters, the town said in a press release.

These letters and services provided by American Water Resources are not endorsed by the Town of Huntersville, nor are they affiliated with the town or Charlotte-Mecklenburg Utilities Department.

Many residents received letters from American Water Resources earlier in 2012 as well. Charlotte-Mecklenburg Utilities Department addressed them at that time on their website: http://charmeck.org/city/charlotte/Utilities/NewsandUpdates/NewsArchive/Pages/AmericanWaterResourcesLetter.aspx.
