Lake Norman Charter, hoping to avoid the wet weather predicted for Friday, changed its home basketball game against Lincolnton that night to Thursday.
The girls game will begin at 6 p.m., followed by the boys varsity at about 7:45 p.m.
The girls game will feature the top two teams in the Southern Piedmont 1A/2A conference. Lincolnton (12-3) leads with a 7-0 record. Lake Norman Charter (12-4 overall, 6-1 conference) is one game behind.
Lake Norman Charter leads the boys conference race. The Knights are 11-4 overall and 6-1 in conference.
