HUNTERSVILLE – The SwimMac North Fireball team collected dental supplies in December 2012 for A Child’s Place in Charlotte, an organization that works to erase the impact of homelessness on children and their education.
The swimmers and their families collected enough toothbrushes, toothpastes, floss and lip balm to make 200 dental kits for A Child’s Place.
The team is lead by coach Daniela Sanchez, marlin division leader and lead Fireball coach at Huntersville Family Fitness and Aquatics.
Area dentists that participated in the collection included Dr. Bryan Kreeb, Cosmetic and Family Dentistry; Dr. Stephen Rendulich, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery; White & Haines Advanced Dentistry; Dr. Matthew Savage, Orthodontic and Pediatric Dentistry; and Dr. Stan Michalski, Cosmetic and General Dentistry; and John W. Allen Family Dentistry DDS.
