North Mecklenburg Republican Women leaders Linda Angele and Mary Lou Richardson were invited to a closed-door roundtable discussion regarding defense with Republican Vice President candidate Paul Ryan on Aug. 23 in Fayetteville. Angele, who serves as the 9th Congressional District vice chair, met the Mitt Romney and Ryan team when they landed at the airport days prior.
