DAVIDSON – The Davidson College men’s soccer team lost 4-0 to UNC Greensboro in each team’s Southern Conference opener Tuesday night at Alumni Stadium.

The loss ended a four-game winning streak for Davidson, which slipped to 4-3-1.  UNCG improved to 3-4-2.

The Spartans' Hakahn Ilhan tied a school record with four assists. INCG scored its first goal seven minutes into the
match, then added three goals in a seven-minute span late in the first half.

Davidson will next play conference foe Elon at 7 p.m. Sept. 28  at Alumni Stadium.
