Lake Norman Publications welcomes its newest reporter, Jackson Sveen, to the editorial team. The company also has papers in Denver, Mooresville, Mountain Island and University City.

Sveen will cover Davidson and Cornelius government and general news around the lake.

A graduate of UNC Charlotte, Sveen has worked with community newspapers in the past as a reporter for The Franklin Press in western North Carolina.

As a resident of Cornelius, Jackson likes to spend his free time kayaking and fishing on the lake and playing disc golf at Bradford Park in Huntersville and Bailey Road Park in Cornelius.
