Cornelius Presbyterian Church will hold four concerts this month in its "Not Strictly Bluegrass Saturdays, Barbecue, Bluegrass and Beyond" event on Sept. 15 and 22.

Owen Poteat and The Barefoot Movement will perform at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, at Cornelius Presbyterian Church.

Poteat is a one-man show, in which he sings, stomps on drums, and plays guitar and harmonica. Find more at www.OwenPoteat.com.

The Barefoot Movement will follow at 12:15 p.m. The group includes musicians from North Carolina and Tennessee whose music melds Americana influences with the invigoration of acoustic modern rock and jazz.
