HUNTERSVILLE – Connie Evans will present humorous experiences on her misadventures of traveling during the next North Mecklenburg Woman’s Club meeting.

Evans wrote the children’s book “Caw Caw Caughty, A Visit From Grandma.” She recently served on the Iredell County Task Force for Education Improvement. She also presents workshops on writing, emergency evacuation, grandparenting, and coping skills for cancer survivors and their caregivers.

The North Mecklenburg Woman’s Club supports social, educational and civic programs in the community.

The group will meet at 6 p.m. Oct. 2 or at 10:30 am. Oct. 3 at NorthStone Country Club in Huntersville. Visitors and potential members are welcome.
