CORNELIUS – The Hough High girls soccer team, which won the N.C. 4A state championship, will receive their championship rings during the Hough football game Sept. 14 against Vance.

The ceremony will be between the first and second quarters.

The Huskies, coached by David Smith, rallied to beat Green Hope 2-1 in the title game May 26 at N.C. State’s Dail Stadium. It capped a 26-0-1 season, and Hough was named the top team  in the ESPN/Powerade national poll.
