Mooresville 28, Lawndale Burns 6 -The Blue Devils used touchdown passes from Joe Robinson and J.J. Jones to notch their second win in a row. Mooresville shut out the Bulldogs until the final 90 seconds.
Lake Norman Charter 30, Lincolnton 28 - The Knights upset Lincolnton to remain unbeaten (3-0) in the first Southern Piedmont 1A/2A conference game for both teams.
Providence Day 24, Davidson Day 15 - Davidson Day (2-1) was hampered by five turnovers in a matchup of reigning private-school state champions.
SouthLake Christian 65, Wake Christian 0 - SouthLake Christian (3-0) won by shutout for the second time in three games.
Claremont Bunker Hill 39, North Lincoln 16 - The Knights fell to 0-3 on the season despite scoring more points against Bunker Hill than the Bears' first two opponents. Bunker Hill has outscored its three opponents by a average of 30 points.
