CORNELIUS – Davidson resident James Hall has been named associate dean of middle and upper schools at Lake Norman Christian School.

Hall has 14 years of experience teaching in Christian schools. He will also teach history and Bible classes.

“I am dedicated to the cause of Christian education by influencing and shaping young hearts and minds in the image of Christ,” Hall said. “I chose this role at Lake Norman Christian because it is clear that this school is dedicated wholeheartedly to the same goal.”

He is pursuing a doctor of education degree in curriculum and instruction at Gardner-Webb University and has earned a master’s degree in middle grades education from GWU.

Lake Norman Christian opened its doors Aug. 17 for the 2012-13 school year. The school moved from a church in Huntersville to the former Davidson I.B. Middle School building in January.
