DAVIDSON – World of Wonder, with help from Davidson Lands Conservancy and Woodland Discovery, is holding a tree signs project to provide tree identification signs at the Lake Davidson Nature Preserve and Fisher Farm Park.
On June 16 Boy Scouts from Rock Hill, Gastonia and Huntersville placed signs on trees at Fisher Farm Park.
A second tree signs outing has been planned for children and their families for Aug. 18, and will include games and other activities. Registration is required and can be done by emailing dlc.wow@gmail.com.
