LaKova Gymnastics adds baton twirling, rhythmic gymnastics
CORNELIUS – LaKova Gymnastics’ owner Amanda Proschuk-Landay recently expanded her program to include baton twirling and rhythmic gymnastics.
Proschuk-Landay hired Valerie Frits to help with the new classes.

Solomon House receives health grant
CHARLOTTE — The Solomon House, affiliated with Presbyterian Hospital Huntersville, recently received a $1,000 Community Partners Grant from the Northcross Branch of Wells Fargo.
The grant will help fund free health education and referrals to community resources for those who might not have full access to healthcare in the Huntersville/Lake Norman area.
The Solomon House works with uninsured and underserved community members to help them through crisis situations, most often when they need food, clothing and furniture.
The Solomon House also provides free health education programs to the community.

CHS Receives ‘Most Wired’ Recognition for ninth consecutive year
CHARLOTTE – Carolinas HealthCare System has been ranked as one of the nation’s Most Wired Hospitals and Health Systems for the ninth year in a row.
AnMed Health, a South Carolina affiliate of CHS, also received Most Wired recognition for the third year in a row.
Results are based on the national Hospitals and Health Networks Benchmarking Study, which hospitals report on their adoption and use of information technology.
Jetton Medical sold to new investors
CORNELIUS – Merrifield Patrick Vermillion LLC announced recently the
investment sale of the medical office buildings located at 19475 and 19485 Old Jetton Road.
Anchored by Novant Medical Group, Jetton Medical is located adjacent to Jetton Village shopping center.
The sale, consisting of two buildings totaling 44,893 square feet, sold for $10.75 million.
Merrifield Partners developed the buildings, which were completed in 2007. Mark Newell with Merrifield Patrick Vermillion represented the seller, Jetton Medical LLC.
