HUNTERSVILLE – Kids and bikes will assemble in Birkdale again for the annual Bike Safety Rodeo, sponsored by Huntersville’s Greenway, Trail and Bikeway Commission. The event runs from 9-11 a.m. Wednesday, July 4, and will start at the intersection of Birkdale Commons Parkway and Townley Road.

The goal of the rodeo is to give children exposure to safety guidelines and hand signals to keep them safe on their bikes when riding on public streets.

Participation is free and open to the public.
