HUNTERSVILLE – Matthew G. Shahady recently joined independent financial planning and investment firm Derse Morgan as a financial adviser.

Shahady has been in the industry for five years. He earned his Masters in Business Administration from Wright State University after graduating from West Virginia Wesleyan.

Originally from West Virginia, Shahady and his wife Lindsay moved to Huntersville six years ago. They now live in Cornelius.

Shahady will work out of Derse Morgan’s Huntersville office located at The Park at Huntersville and will oversee the firm’s planned expansion into the Mooresville and Denver markets. For more information, visit www.derse
