CORNELIUS – Cornelius Police responded to an armed robbery call at Harris Teeter, 19815 N. Cove Road, just after midnight Tuesday, May 22.

Police said they are searching for a skinny black man who was wearing a dark coat, red and white tennis shoes, a black hat and a black bandana over his face.

Witnesses told police he was carrying a small, dark handgun and fled toward Jetton Road.
