DAVIDSON – Green Drinks, an environmentally-conscious networking group, will return May 31 to Campania Café, 416 S. Main St, from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

Emily Parker, sustainability program analyst and co-coordinator for the Centralina Clean Fuels Coalition, will discuss the U.S. Department of Energy’s Clean Cities program. The Clean Cities program is intended to reduce dependence on imported petroleum, encourage the use of domestically made, cleaner alternatives and improve air quality by reducing emissions.

The program works on electric vehicle-readiness planning for the Charlotte area.
