Huntersville Mayor Jill Swain and Charlotte Motor Speedway President and General Manager Marcus Smith joined community leaders from across the state in kicking off Charlotte Motor Speedway’s May Race to Education program Friday, May 4. Swain selected Regan Smith on behalf of Huntersville. Communities paired with the winning driver of the upcoming NASCAR Sprint All-Star and Coca-Cola 600 races will win $20,000 for education programs.
