HUNTERSVILLE – Lake Norman Charter beat Charlotte Latin 6-1 to win its second consecutive Greater Charlotte Middle School Athletic Association championship on May 4. Winning pitcher Sam Bennett threw 3 2/3 innings, and Daniel Nall pitched 3 1/3 innings to earn the save. Lake Norman Charter broke a 1-1 tie with five runs in the third inning.
