VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – Emily Milano ran the Shamrock Operation Smile Final Mile in Virginia Beach on March 17, completing 26.2 miles and benefiting kids with cleft lip and cleft palate. Emily, a 9-year-old third grader at Torrence Creek Elementary ran 5 miles a week before cumulatively completing the marathon with about 4,000 other kids. Emily’s mom, Christine Milano, completed her first marathon the next day in Virginia Beach.
