DAVIDSON – An 18-year-old who was the subject of an overnight police search was found alive March 29 and is in a physician’s care.
Joshua Kogas told a 911 dispatcher at about 8:30 p.m. March 28 that he had intentionally overdosed on his medication and was lying near the intersection of Mayes Road and N.C. 73.
Davidson and Charlotte-Mecklenburg police responded with a helicopter and K9 teams and searched the area. They picked up a cell phone signal near the Cedarfield neighborhood in Huntersville, but were unable to locate Kogas.
