HUNTERSVILLE – Anna Grier Barringer will celebrate her 95th birthday with family and friends Saturday, April 28.

Barringer has lived in Huntersville since birth except for seven years of attending school and teaching.

Barringer raised seven children in Huntersville with her husband Curlee Barringer, helped found the Huntersville Community Bible Club and Home Demonstration Club, and served on the Huntersville Community Development Association board, Project Light and the former Huntersville Prison Board.
