Primary elections are Tuesday, May 8.

North Mecklenburg residents will vote on the following offices: N.C. Senate District 41; N.C. House of Representatives District 92; Mecklenburg County Board of Commissioners District 1; Mecklenburg County Commissioner at large; and U.S. House of Representatives District 9.

Residents will also vote on the proposed amendment to Article 14 of the N.C. constitution, “to provide that marriage between one man and one woman is the only domestic legal union that shall be valid or recognized in this state.”
