CHARLOTTE – Mecklenburg County’s 2012 State of the Environment Report can be found online at charmeck.org by searching “state of the environment.”

The semiannual report examines the county’s progress in air, water, land and waste management.

The county reports that air, surface water and recycling all need to improve, but environmental quality of life has improved steadily, according to a county news release.
