CORNELIUS – Candidates in the May 8 primary for the newly created N.C. Senate District 41 seat will participate in a question-and-answer forum at Cornelius Town Hall, 21445 Catawba Ave., from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, May 1.

The event will begin with a meet-and-greet and refreshments. Candidates are former county Republican Party Chairman John Aneralla, Huntersville race team owner Robby Benton, retired physician Donald Copeland, Cornelius lawyer Troy Stafford and Mayor Jeff Tarte.
