CORNELIUS – Pat Berch, the owner of Lake Norman Nutrition, and Marianne Hendrix, 15-year Our Towns Habitat for Humanity volunteer, have teamed up to host a weight loss challenge to help raise funds for Our Towns Habitat for Humanity and to help kick start a health and wellness routine for area residents.

The challenge runs from May 1 to 22. Registration costs $20 and benefits Our Towns Habitat for Humanity. Participants will receive a free metabolic screening, free wellness coaching and a free smoothie and green tea from Lake Norman Nutrition. In addition, registrants will receive a certificate to KADIFIT fitness. Participants are encouraged to do their metabolic screening prior to May 1.
