HUNTERSVILLE – The N.C. Science Festival continues at the Energy
Explorium at McGuire Nuclear Station, 13339 Hagers Ferry Road, through April 29.
Home-schoolers will learn about energy conservation, green jobs and an electric car during “Good to be Green,” Friday, April 20, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
High school students will dress as nuclear workers and learn to measure radiation Wednesday, April 25, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
The EnergyExplorium will host a science and environmentally themed art show from area students April 28, from 1 to 3 p.m.
