HUNTERSVILLE – Carolinas Medical Center-Huntersville will have a ribbon-cutting Saturday, April 14, for its new standalone emergency department at 16455 Statesville Road.

The event is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and includes an egg hunt, a petting zoo, local food, free screenings and giveaways.

The 24-hour emergency department will be open for patients at 7 a.m. Monday, April 16.
