Students at McKinney Academy in Davidson came together on March 30 to commemorate International Day, a day in which students celebrated cultures from different countries from throughout the world.

As part of the school’s global studies initiative, each grade level shared knowledge and facts about their assigned country with their fellow classmates. Countries represented include the United States, kindergarten; Germany, first grade; Italy, second grade; Brazil, third grade; Australia, fourth grade; and Egypt, fifth grade.
