CONCORD – Carolinas Medical Center will offer faith community health promoter training to prepare volunteers for caring ministry in the church. Training will teach how to start a health ministry in a congregation. An upcoming course takes place April 27, from 5 to 9 p.m., and April 29, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., at Cabarrus College of Health Sciences, 401 Medical Park Drive. The class costs $50.
