Sandy Bowers, owner of Monkee’s of Lake Norman and Monkee’s on Main in Davidson, was recently named store owner of the year during Monkee’s annual corporate meeting in Winston-Salem. Bowers was also honored with Monkee’s circle of excellence award for owning one of the top four stores in the chain.
