CHARLOTTE – The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools Board of Education approved a 185-day calendar school year for 2012-13 to take the place of the 180-day calendar approved last April.
In June, the N.C. General Assembly eliminated five teacher workdays and added five classroom instructional days for all public schools across the state.
