HUNTERSVILLE – A Bradley Middle School student will progress to the state level of the national Parent-Teacher Association Reflections Contest.

For the contest, students created artistic dances, films, literature, musical compositions, photographs or visual art pieces that reflected the theme “Diversity Means… .” Christian Hammond’s musical composition won the overall Mecklenburg County competition and will advance to the state level.

The following students won awards at the school level.

• Madi Feder won a gold award for her film. She proceeded to the county competition where she won first place in film production.

• Tyler Couse won a gold award in photography. He proceeded to the county level where he won first place in photography.

• Becky Eggebeen won a gold award in visual arts. She advanced to the county level of competition.

• Tiara German won a silver award for visual arts.
