Davidson United Methodist Church senior high youth and handbell choirs will tour Denmark and Sweden this summer. Retired United Methodist Church Bishop Neil Irons and Denmark Bishop Alsted invited the choirs to tour Denmark in the summer of 2012 after seeing them perform in Washington, D.C. last year. Davidson Minister of Music and Worship Kevin Turner hopes this trip will allow the church’s youth to understand the challenges facing the international church as well as share their faith. The choirs will leave June 25 and return July 5.
