CHARLOTTE – The Democratic National Convention Committee is encouraging local firms to apply for subcontracts to provide services for the convention.

Firms wishing to bid for a subcontract must register at www.demconvention.com. Request for qualifications are now available on the directory.

Subcontracting opportunities are available in moving and storage, janitorial services, tenting, exterior fencing, graphic production, exterior trash removal/waste management, and golf carts and radios.

The convention committee will evaluate proposals based on numerous criteria, including, experience, reliability, relationships to Charlotte and the surrounding region, participation of union labor and local resources to support the endeavor.
